Vera allows its users to create various automatic & manual message templates with the intention of saving time in sending out messages. To configure these templates, follow the next steps:
Automatic message templates
- Go to the team settings and select the tab Communication.
- Scroll towards the Automatic messages box & click the button to create an automatic message template.
- Select the context.
- Select the recipient(s) & click Next.
- Select the trigger(s) (they indicate when the message should be sent) & click Next.
- Add a condition if desired & click Next.
- Open the editor(s) and edit the templates for the communication tools you wish to use.
- Click Save.
Manual message templates
- Go to the team settings and select the tab Communication.
- Scroll towards the Manual messages box & click the button to create a message template.
- Select the context.
- Add a description.
- Open the editor(s) and edit the templates for the communication tools you wish to use.
- Click Save.
Data fields
Tip - you can add data fields that auto fill with information from the database by typing {{, this will open a selector where you can scroll between all the possible options. Select one and the chosen item will now fill in with the correct data everytime you send an email.
