To manage you cases efficiently you will probably need classifications and custom statusses.
Classifications could be used to group or classify your cases whils statusses can be used to get a more detailed view on where you are with the cases.
To manage your statusses and classifications go to teamsettings and select the tab "Cases":
Classifications
You can define classifications for each case type. When defining classifications we request to define the classification in different languages. The reason herefore is when you allow other teams to access your case. Storing the classification in different languages will allow the other team to see the classification in their own language.
Classifications can only be deleted when no cases are related.
Statusses
Statusses are defined per case type and per status type.
Vera has 4 status types: Open, Closed, Cancelled and on hold. Those status types can be assigned directly to a case, but you might consider to define more statusses to get a more detailed view on where you are with the status.
Status types can be activated or disabled. Active statusses can be selected on a case, disabled statusses can not.
When defining statusses we request to define the status in different languages. The reason herefore is when you allow other teams to access your case. Storing the status different languages will allow the other team to see the status in their own language.
