7.04 Import general ledger accounts

In Vera you can upload your general ledger accounts per HOA, please follow the next steps. Please keep in mind that if you also want to link division keys to the import of your general ledger accounts, the division keys need to already be created. We will link the division keys to the general ledger accounts based on the key (not the description). Please follow the next steps :

1. Go to buildings
2. Open a building
3. Navigate to the button « HOA management » 
4. Navigate to the « Settings » 
5. Navigate to the card « GLA »
   1. Click on the blue button « Import GLA »
   2. A new modal will open up with instructions
   3. Please download the file to import your GLA
   4. An example file can also be found in this modal

Columns : 

• GLA

  2. Max 6 numbers

• Description Dutch
  1. Description in Dutch of the general ledger account
• Description French
  1. Description in French of the general ledger account
• Description English
  1. Description in English of the general ledger account
• Division key 
  1. You also have the option to immediately link already imported division keys to your general ledger accounts. We recommend to do this because this will be used when validating invoices and creating budgets etc… 

Notes : 

• If a GLA already exists we will overwrite the description with the new one
• If an import has failed you can view the results in the history tab of the modal
• If there is 1 mistake in the import we will not import anything, please make sure that your import is 100% correct

A crucial GLA to have is the 599999 CODA Wait account. Please make sure this account is in your overview of GLA's. This should be in it if you import the standard general ledger accounts from the teamsettings, but will not be if you make your own import. Please be mindful of this as this account is needed for settlements.
