7.06.2 Importing Owners and Tenants from Syndixis

From Syndixis, you can extract a single file containing information about the co-owners. To facilitate and automate the import of co-owners, we have written macros consisting of formulas. Now, you only need to click a few times and verify that the correct data is imported.

Before you start, download the macro file from the attachment. We will initiate each import from this file.

Now, copy your export into the workbook. The export from Syndixis should go into the "Sheet1" worksheet (select all → CTRL + C → CTRL + V).

Once you have copied the data, go to the Developer tab and click on Macros.

Click on CombinedImport and Run. This will correctly format the data from your export and insert it into Vera’s import file.

The file should now be fully compiled. You will only need to review a few details:

• If no gender is specified, enter "UNK" (unknown).
• Fill in start ownership/use and end ownership/use. If no end date is known, enter 01/01/2099.
• Check communication preferences and language. By default, these are set to EMA (email) and DUT (Dutch). Adjust if necessary.

Once this is done, save the current page as a CSV-UTF8 file and import it into Vera.

To create a new file, please delete the "GesplitsteData" worksheet, clear "Sheet1" completely, and empty "Blad1" (keeping only the column names).
